At a time when the future of Borussia Dortmund striker Erling Haaland is the subject of widespread speculation, Ole Gunnar Solkjaer has tried not to give too much away concerning Manchester United’s interest in signing the young striking sensation.
When asked if he can afford to miss out on his former Molde striker a second time after trying to sign him in December 2019, Ole replied: “I’m focusing on the next two months,”
“Whatever happens in the world of football, there are only so many places anyone can go to. I’ll just focus on the ones who are here.
“Even though I’ve worked with Erling, it’s not right for me to talk about him as a Manchester United manager to talk about him. I can talk about him as an ex-coach of his but he will make his own mind up.”
